After years of study and experience as a drummer in Brazil and abroad, Claudio Oliveira brings in his method the extract exposed by the title "A Contemporary View of Brazilian Rhythms for Drums and Percussion"

Claudio Oliveira has studied with Dirceu Medeiros and then at L.A.M.A (Los Angeles Music Academy) with recognized teachers like Ralph Humphrey, Mike Packer and Joe Porcaro.
He has performed in the United States, France, Portugal, England, Spain and India. His experience includes several contracts on cruise
ships by the Royal Caribbean company.
As an endorsee of Yamaha Musical do Brasil for many years, he has conducted clinics and workshops promoting the brand in several cities in Brazil.
He has recorded and played with many Brazilian artists and groups, Including: Renato Godá, Paulo Costta, Moreno Veloso, Beto Bertrami, Meno Del Pichia, Fabiano de Castro, Denise Assunção, Sizão Machado, Maria Alcina,
Leonardo Gonçalves (Gospel), Mafalda Minnozzi, Ari Borger, Verônica Ferriani, Hercules Gomes, Peter Friestedt (Sweden) and André Martins, among others. He collaborated and wrote many articles for drum magazines.
As an educator, he was invited to teach Drums at Swarnabhoomy Music Academy in Chennai, India, in the year of 2018. During this period he had the opportunity to study the fundamentals of Konnakol (South Indian rhythmic
language) with the Guru Gatham Kartick. Cláudio Oliveira has recently launched the Drum book “A Contemporary View of Brazilian Rhythms for Drums and Percussion”.
He currently teaches private lessons and also at Beethoven Conservatory of Music in São Paulo.
